a positive outcome.
Firstaid Advantage hereby agrees to provide the training, assessment and resources necessary for me to
achieve this qualification and I acknowledge my role and responsibility in this agreement.
Entry Requirements
There are no pre-requisites for this course; however, it is recommended participants have sufficient English
language and visual interpretation skills to successfully complete the training. Participants will also be required
to undertake practical training and assessments. This includes demonstrating CPR on a manikin (placed on the
floor) for a period of two minutes. If you have a current injury poor mobility or please discuss this prior to
enrolling.
Minimum Age
Enrolments for this course are not recommended for participants under of the age of 14. Participants under
the age of 18 will be required to provide a consent form completed by their legal guardian.
Requirements for Successful Completion
Participants are required to attend 100% of this first aid training, and successfully demonstrate competence
in all assessment activities.
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Requirements
Participants will need suitable LLN skills to complete the following tasks/skills:
Read information from a PowerPoint and whiteboard
Listen and understand verbal information by an English-speaking trainer
Complete written incident report forms in English
Read and answer a multiple-choice & short-written question paper
Listen to instructions of an Automated External Defibrillator where prompts are delivered in English and count to 30
